1 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 26, 1999 <br /> Present: Selectman Marsters, Selectman Taylor, Selectman Leveille <br /> Town Administrator Robert Whritenour <br /> Assistant Town Administrator Joyce Mason <br /> Absent: Selectman Frye, Selectman Caffyn <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Marsters at 8:15 a.m. <br /> Town Hall, Conference Room#1. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Request to Waive Permit Fees for Boys and Girls Club: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve the waiver of permit <br /> fees for the Boys and Girls Club as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Leveille. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Budget and Town Meeting Warrant Review: <br /> The Board of Selectmen held a workshop session for the purpose of <br /> reviewing the FY 2000 annual budget. Several members of the Finance <br /> Committee were present. Diane Rommelmeyer, the Town Accountant <br /> was also in attendance. <br /> Special Town Meeting Warrant Review: <br /> Article#9: $25,000 to replace existing culvert on Monomoscoy Road. <br /> Finance Committee—Approved <br /> Article to be submitted by Board of Selectmen. <br /> Article#12: To create a Storrs Water Filter at the Indian Museum <br /> parking lot. The Town's share is estimated to be $6,146. <br /> Annual Town Meeting Warrant Review: <br /> Town Counsel, David Doneski presented recommended revisions to the <br /> warrants in a memo dated March 25, 1999 to the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Article#4: Capital Improvement Program- $517,939. <br /> Finance Committee Approved <br />
