4 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> May 17, 1999 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Charles Talanian SouthCgM Villa a Center: (continued) <br /> A complete fiscal impact analysis and executive summary was presented <br /> to the Board of Selectmen for review. <br /> Mr. Vaccaro requested the Selectmen send a letter of endorsement for the <br /> SouthCape Village concept proposal to the Cape Cod Commission. The <br /> CCC will be conducting a Public Hearing on the proposed development on <br /> May 26, 1999. <br /> It is the consensus of the Board to support the proposal as outlined. The <br /> Planning Board will be consulted with respect to their position on the <br /> project proposal prior to the issuance of a letter of support. <br /> Public Hearin —C&D Auto Sales for Class II License. <br /> i <br /> Selectman Marsters opened the Public Hearing on the application of Dana <br /> Leahy, C&D Auto Sales, 401 Route 151,Unit 4,John's Pond Center, <br /> Mashpee for a Class 11 Used Car License. <br /> Mrs. Mason, Assistant Town Administrator read aloud the Public Hearing <br /> notice as published. It was noted that all necessary paperwork is in order <br /> for the Selectmen's approval. <br /> William Hauck,Inspector of Buildings has requested the Selectmen <br /> stipulate on the license application that no vehicles will be parked or on <br /> display at the subject site location at anytime. <br /> Dana Leahy was present to discuss the license application request. Mr. <br /> Leahy indicated that he intends to run a wholesale auto sales business <br /> distributing vehicles from one dealer to another. He does not intend to <br /> store vehicles on site. <br /> Selectman Marsters opened the hearing to obtain comment. Being none, <br /> he requested a vote from the Board to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Leveille. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
