10 <br /> ` Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> July 12, 1999 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearin —Seacaf Inc. —Transfer of Liquor License: <br /> Selectman Marsters opened the Public Hearing on the application of <br /> Seacaf,Inc., d/b/a Marketplace Cafd,Paula Masaschi,Manager, Shore <br /> Drive,Mashpee for the following: Transfer of Seasonal All Alcohol <br /> Restaurant Liquor License from Spenco,Inc. to Seacaf, Inc. and <br /> application for weekday entertainment(recorded music). <br /> Mrs. Mason, Assistant Town Administrator read aloud the Public Hearing <br /> notice as published All necessary paperwork is in order for the <br /> Selectmen's approval. <br /> Selectman Leveille stepped down for the discussion of the above hearing. <br /> Attorney Mark Gildea was present to discuss the license application with <br /> the Board. Paula Masaschi,Manager, was also in attendance. <br /> The application is proposed to conduct a restaurant/lounge business on the <br /> subject premise under the name of"Marketplace Cafe"providing a full- <br /> service food menu, and all alcoholic beverages to be consumed on the <br /> premises by the public (on a seasonal basis). <br /> There is no jukebox. <br /> Being no comment,the Board motioned to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Leveille abstained. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve the application of <br /> Seacaf,Inc.,d/b/a Marketplace Cafe,Paula Masaschi,Manager, <br /> Shore Drive, Mashpee for the following: Transfer of Seasonal All <br /> Alcohol Restaurant Liquor License from Spenco,Inc. to Seacaf,Inc. <br /> and application for weekday entertainment(recorded music)only. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Leveille abstained. <br /> i <br />
