5 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> July 12, 1999 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND BEARINGS: <br /> CathyPerry—Barnstable Coun , Home Consortium Mutual Agreement: <br /> Cathy Bowmar Perry, an advisory council member of the HOME <br /> Consortium representing the Town of Mashpee was present to discuss the <br /> renewal of the Mutual Cooperative Agreement with members of the Board <br /> of Selectmen. <br /> The HOME Consortium is the recipient of both federal and state funds for <br /> the purpose of developing affordable housing for low and moderate <br /> income individuals,families, and persons with special needs in Barnstable <br /> County. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to vote as Selectmen of the <br /> Town of Mashpee approve the"Mutual Cooperation Agreement of <br /> the Barnstable County Home Consortium under the Cranston- <br /> Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act" in accordance with the <br /> provisions of the G.L. Chapter 121B,and further authorize the Town <br /> Administrator,to sign the Agreement on behalf of the Town of <br /> Mashpee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Leveille. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Correspondence from Richard Halpern re: New Year's Eve Closing Time. <br /> Correspondence was received from Richard Halpern dated June 9, 1999 <br /> requesting the Selectmen approve on New Year's Eve,the liquor license <br /> closing time be extended from 1:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Blythe to remain with the liquor license <br /> closing time of 1:00 p.m. for all pertaining establishments for the year <br /> 2000 and 2001. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
