3 <br /> Board of Selectr7ren <br /> Minutes <br /> Aught 9 1994 <br /> OLD BUSINESS, <br /> A=int_ment of Representative to the Charter Review Comrnittep: <br /> Correspondence was.received from the Barnstable.Co.unty Assembly of <br /> Delegates dated July 9, 1999 requesting the Board appoint a representative <br /> to serve on the Charter Review Committee. <br /> Dr. Elizabeth Petti submitted communication to the Board requesting <br /> consideration for appointment. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to appoint Dr.Elizabeth Petti <br /> as Mashpee's representative to the Charter Review Committee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Blythe. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Robert McCaffrev: <br /> The Board of Selectmen met with Mashpee resident, Robert McCaffrey <br /> to discuss the regulation of Mashpee-Wakeby Pond for recreational use. <br /> It was noted that Mashpee-Wakeby, a pond greater than 500 acres is <br /> regulated by state law, and is not applicable to the Town bylaw. <br /> The Selectmen presented a memorandum to Mr. McCaffrey addressing his <br /> concerns, and apologized for any inconveniences that may have occurred. <br /> Public Hearing—Justina Allen—Livery_License: <br /> Selectman Marsters opened the Public Hearing on the application of <br /> Justina Allen, 10 Antunes Avenue,Mashpee for a livery service license. <br /> Mrs. Mason, Assistant Town Administrator read aloud the Public Hearing <br /> notice as published. The application was forwarded to the Police <br /> Department. Correspondence was received from Sergeant Clancy dated <br /> July 10, 1999 recommending approval. <br /> The applicant,Justina Allen was not in attendance. <br /> Being no comment, the Board motioned to close the Public Hearing. <br />
