11 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> August 25, 1999 <br /> Libga Building Committee ApggiltmertV <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to appoint Grace Talmage and <br /> Ernest Cole,Jr, to the Library Building Committee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Leveille. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous, 5-0. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Deer Crossing SpeedLimit: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Chief of Police dated <br /> August 6, 1999 recommending the Board authorize a speed limit of 20 <br /> miles per hour pursuant to MGL, Chapter 80, Section 18 in Deer Crossing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Blythe to accept the recommendation of <br /> the Chief of Police,and authorize a speed limit of 20 mph in Deer <br /> Crossing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Historical District Stud Committee A intment: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to appoint Curtis Frye to the <br /> Historical District Study Committee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Bell Atlantic—Request for Pole Location: <br /> Bell Atlantic representative Albert Teufel was present to discuss his <br /> memorandum of July 19, 1999 with the Board. Mr. Teufel requested the <br /> Selectmen vote on the revised petition so that the pole that was set in error <br /> can be relocated. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Blythe to approve the request of Bell <br /> Atlantic#99-32 and approve the relocation of existing pole 216/4 <br /> Highland Street as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
