1 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> August 30, 1999 <br /> Present: Selectman Marsters, Selectman Leveille, Selectman Taylor, <br /> Selectman Cahalane, Selectman Blythe <br /> Town Administrator Robert Whritenour <br /> Assistant Town Administrator Joyce Mason <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Marsters at 6:05 p.m. <br /> Town Hall, Conference Room#1. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Bids for Assessing Department Vehicle: <br /> David Bailey, Director of Assessing was present to recommend the Board <br /> approve the purchase of a Jeep Cherokee Sport vehicle for the Assessing <br /> Department. The Capital Improvement Committee voted to recommend <br /> the vehicle purchase for fiscal year 2000. Discussion followed. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve the purchase of a <br /> model year 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport vehicle for.the Assessing <br /> Department as recommended for the low bid price of$20,842 from <br /> O'Hara Motors,Inc. of Falmouth. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Blythe. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Fiscal Year 1999 Closeout Review: <br /> Diane Rommelmeyer, Town Accountant was present to discuss the <br /> year-end reports of the Town of Mashpee for fiscal year 1999 with <br /> members of the Board of Selectmen and Finance Committee. (enclosed) <br /> In addition, estimates for free cash were disclosed. (attached) <br />
