January 26, 1998 <br /> Jane Labute <br /> Town Clerk <br /> Mashpee Town Hall <br /> 16 Great Neck Road N. <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> Dear Mrs. Labute: <br /> It is with great regret that I must resign my position as Selectman for the Town of <br /> Mashpee and on all other town committees as well. Due to extenuating circumstances I <br /> find that I must devote more time to personal business. <br /> I look back at my years of volunteer service for the town with a sense of accomplishment <br /> and pride. My most rewarding experience was serving with the members of the High <br /> School Building Committee to provide this town with a facility that I see as instrumental <br /> in bringing this growing town together as we continue on our path of developing <br /> community identity and maturity. <br /> I am happy to have served the people of Mashpee alongside my colleagues and town <br /> employees and wish everyone in Mashpee well. <br /> Sincerel , <br /> eter A.
