1 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 6 <br /> March 9, 1998 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS- <br /> Warrant Review: (continued) <br /> .Annual Town Meeting rai (3/6/98) <br /> Article 930: To acquire for conservation purposes, land containing 16.85 acres <br /> located between the Mashpee River and the west side of <br /> Meetinghouse Road. The Trustees of Reservations, which owns <br /> the land on both sides of the parcel has agreed to purchase the <br /> western third of the property. The Town will apply for grant <br /> funding from the Cape Cod Pathways program and Self-Help <br /> program. <br /> Article 931: To transfer$67,500 from the Cranberry Bog Reserved Receipts <br /> Account to the Conservation Lands Maintenance/Improvement <br /> Account. Article dependent upon reimbursement from <br /> government. <br /> Article 932: To acquire land containing 6.2 acres on Great Oak Road which is <br /> surrounded by Town and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service lands. <br /> The Town will apply for 52% reimbursement under the state's <br /> Self-Help Land Acquisition program. <br /> Article #33: To designate 32.25 acres of tax taking land owned by the Town, <br /> located south of Red Brook Road and west of Great Oak Road <br /> within the boundaries of the National Wildlife Refuge. <br /> Article 934: To establish a revolving account for the purpose of depositing <br /> tuition monies received from Special Education Shared Programs. <br /> *Agenda topic, further information. <br /> Article#35: Septic System Repair Loans.
