Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 13 <br /> March 9, 1998 <br /> OLD B <br /> Memo from the Board,of Holtht F-4Site: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Board of Health dated <br /> March 9, 1998 relative to obtaining a transfer of funds for the clean-up <br /> of Town owned property, referred to as the LF-4 Site. <br /> Mr. Whritenour recommended approval. The Finance Committee <br /> will be requested to fund a Reserve Fund Transfer for a sum not to <br /> exceed; $10,000. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to support the Board of Health's <br /> request to clean-up the LF-4 Site for a sum not to exceed; $10,000. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Annointme A of Police Officer: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Personnel Board and Chief of <br /> Police dated March b, 1998 requesting the Board appoint Jon Read as a <br /> full-time Police Officer. <br /> It is the consensus of the Board to defer approval at this time. It has been <br /> a past policy of the Selectmen to review(3)recommended candidates for <br /> additional review and consideration. <br /> .Request for 111-f Ben ft& <br /> William C. Przybylek, Chief of Police submitted a memo to the Board dated <br /> February 26, 1998 requesting approval ofMGL, Chapter 40, Section 111-f <br /> benefits for Police Officer Carl R. DeLorme for loss of time due to on-du injury. <br /> Jay <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to approve Section I I1-f benefits for <br /> Police Officer Carl R. DeLorme as requested. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
