DeMoura <br /> Finance Committee: <br /> AIec Watt, Nancy Goulart, Jim Cleary <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Costa at 6:36 p.m. <br /> Town Hall, Meeting Room#1. <br /> MINUTE <br /> Monday_ March 9. 1998 Regular Sesaigrr <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to approve the Regular Session <br /> minutes of Monday, March 9, 1998 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEA <br /> School Committee re: Budget: <br /> The Board of Selectmen met in joint session with members of the Finance <br /> Committee and School Committee for the purpose of reviewing the FY99 <br /> School budget. <br /> The School Committee initially proposed an $11.99 million dollar budget, <br /> but recently reduced expenditures for fiscal year 1999 to $11.75 million. <br /> The School budget last year was $9.89 million. <br /> Mr. Whritenour, Executive Secretary recommended a budget of$11.1 million <br /> to remain within the limits of the State's Proposition 2 1/2 property tax <br /> limiting law. <br />
