Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 7 <br /> September 14,1998 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearing- S. Joseph DiMaggio for Replacement of Underggmund <br /> Storage Tanks: <br /> Selectman Frye opened the Public Hearing on the application of <br /> S. Joseph DiMaggio for the replacement of Underground Fuel Storage Tanks. <br /> (Removal of four 4.000 gallon tanks,replaced with one 8,000 gallon tank <br /> and one 10,000 gallon tank) located at 135 Main Street,Route 130,Mashpee. <br /> Mr. Whritenour, Executive Secretary read aloud the Public Hearing notice as <br /> published. Mr. DiMaggio was present to discuss the license application with <br /> the Board of Selectmen. <br /> It was noted that the application was reviewed and approved of by George <br /> Baker,Fire Chief. A map was presented to the Selectmen of the project proposal. <br /> Selectman Frye opened the hearing to obtain comment. Being none, Selectman <br /> Frye requested a vote from the Board to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Leveille. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to approve the application of S. Joseph <br /> DiMaggio for the replacement of Underground Fuel Storage Tanks located <br /> at 135 Main Street, Route 130, Mashpee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Aj2proval of Bright Coves,ïż½meQwners Association f-or DPW Assistance: <br /> Under the assistance program for private roads,the DPW has been requested to <br /> provide safety improvements by cutting back brush along the roads in Bright <br /> Coves. The residents have assumed the reimbursement cost of$2,875 for <br /> five days of DPW assistance if approved by the Selectmen. <br />
