9 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 8 <br /> October 19, 1998 <br /> PUBLIC CONIlVIENT: (continued) <br /> It is the consensus of the Board to schedule as an agenda topic, <br /> the review of the FY2000 budget process, <br /> In other business, Tom Fudala requested the Board advertise for two <br /> residents to be appointed to the Local Comprehensive Plan Implementation <br /> Committee. He also suggested the Board appoint a member of the Board of <br /> Selectmen, and identify the Department Heads who are able to service this <br /> committee. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Amendment of Boa Management Amrment for Annrnval and Execution:_ <br /> Correspondence was received from Town Counsel dated September 25, 1998 <br /> relative to the Bog Management Agreement with Handy Trust. The Selectmen <br /> were requested to approve the amended agreement. The terms of which have <br /> been agreed to by counsel for the Trust. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to approve and execute the <br /> Bog Management Agreement with Handy Cranberry Trust as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Revision of MacDonald CaW Cod Path-mlys Amemot <br /> Tom Fudala submitted correspondence to the Selectmen in a memo dated <br /> October 8, 1998 relative to the revision of the MacDonald Cape Cod Pathways <br /> grant agreement, <br /> Mr. Fudala recommended the Board approve a one year grant extension to <br /> January 29, 1999 for the Town's purchase of the property, and a reduction of <br /> acreage proposed to be purchased to approximately 13.7 acres. <br /> The acreage is proposed to be reduced by an estimated 1.3 acres to allow <br /> Mr. MacDonald to reserve space for storage. It is not a buildable lot explained <br /> Mr. Fudala,the Town Planner. <br />
