Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 6 <br /> November 2, 1998 <br /> OLD BUSM—SS <br /> Pr -f-Qr Policet Progamm (continued) <br /> Chief Przybylek indicated that there are no qualified exam eligible candidates <br /> for the program who have had previous full-time academy experience. It was <br /> noted that the original examination gave preference towards candidates with <br /> previous academy training experience. Discussion followed. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to form a sub-committee to <br /> work with the Chief of Police to further review the Police Cadet Program, <br /> and develop policy for hiring Police Officers in the Town of Mashpee. <br /> The committee shall move forward to reach a decision within (30) days. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to appoint; Selectman Curtis Frye and <br /> Selectman David Leveille to the Police Cadet Program sub-committee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Selectman Frye, Selectman Leveille abstained. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Baring-Bonfiglio Motion Cars.for Class R LiGenar,� <br /> Selectman Marsters opened the Public Hearing on the application of <br /> Paul A. Bonfiglio for a Class H Motor Vehicle License to be exercised <br /> at Bonfiglio Motor Cars, 231 Main Street, (A-Glass Shop), Mashpcc. <br /> Mr. Paul Bonfiglio was present to discuss the license application with the <br /> Selectmen. Mr. Bonfiglio indicated that he plans to improve the property <br /> by paving and removing the existing auto's under repair to run a small used <br /> car business. It was noted that the glass shop operates in one of the two <br /> garage bays at the subject site location. <br /> Selectman Caffyn stated that the license may be inappropriate in a residential <br /> area. It is the consensus of the Board to further review the current bylaw as <br /> it relates to C-2 business zoning, and minimum parking requirements. The <br /> Selectman have also agreed to conduct a site visit. <br />
