Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 5 <br /> November 23, 1998 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Town en Space Committee: (continued) <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille for the purpose of implementing <br /> the Land Bank Act in the Town of Mashpee,the Selectmen shall <br /> appoint a Town Open Space Committee as specified in Section 4 of <br /> the Act. The(7) member Committee shall consist of, <br /> 2 members of the Board of Selectmen- to be appointed by the Selectmen <br /> 1 member of the Water District Commissioners- to be appointed by the <br /> Water District Commissioners <br /> 1 Town Administrator <br /> 1 member of the Conservation Commission-to be appointed by the <br /> Conservation Commission <br /> 2 members,citizens at large-to be appointed by the Board of Selectmen <br /> The Committee shall also have(5)Ex-Officio members as follows; <br /> Town Planner or a member of the Planning Board-to be appointed by the <br /> Planning Board <br /> Leisure Services Director <br /> Town Assessor <br /> DPW Department Head, <br /> and if legal, I member of the Finance Committee to be appointed by the <br /> Finance Committee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VO Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> It was noted that it is the Selectmen's discretion to amend the option for <br /> additional citizen representation based upon interest and response. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to place the above topic as an agenda <br /> item of discussion. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
