Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 5 <br /> November 30, 1998 <br /> NEW BUS SS: <br /> htmorandum,.from Chief of Police re: Cancellation of Leave of Absoce: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Chief of Police dated <br /> November 20, I998 requesting the Selectmen approve the cancellation of <br /> the unpaid leave of absence from Perry Ellis as Special Police Officer. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to cancel the leave of absence <br /> and reinstate Perry Ellis as a Special Police Officer as requested. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Letter of Resignalion for Acceptance Horne Consortium Committee <br /> X!-.12=ntative: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to approve the resignation of <br /> Constance Mills from the Home Consortium Committee with regret. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Leveille. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Letter of Interest to Serve as Home ConsortiumRgPieaentative: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to appoint Cathy Bowmar Perry <br /> to the Home Consortium Committee as Mashpee's representative. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VUTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Two_Lettersf Interest 10 Serve on the JQi Open_Space_CQmmittee, <br /> The Board received a letter of interest from Robert N. Lynch, Jr. and <br /> George R. Costa to serve on the Town Open Space Committee. <br /> Bradley Caffyn suggested the Selectmen consider additional advertisement <br /> to obtain broader citizen representation. A brief discussion followed. <br /> It was noted that the Board voted to establish a Town Open Space Committee <br /> at the last meeting for the purpose of implementing the Land Bank Act. <br />
