BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES - REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY, JANUARY 8, 1990 <br /> PAGE THREE <br /> OTHER OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1 . Certificate of Substantial Completion - Mr. Hanson moved <br /> to authorize the Chairman to sign the Certificate of <br /> Substantial Completion for the Coombs School as recommended <br /> by Town Counsel . Mr. Lawrence seconded the motion. All <br /> were in favor. <br /> 1 <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1 . Conservation Commission - Mr. Lawrence moved to defer <br /> action on the appointment of a seventh (regular) member of <br /> the Conservation Commission for a period of two weeks so <br /> that all members of the Board of Selectmen may be present. <br /> Mrs. Jacobson seconded the motion. A1. 1 were in favor. <br /> 2 . Acceptance of Hose Bid - Mr. Lawrence moved to accept the <br /> bid of Snap Tite Hose, Inc. for fire hose. Mr. Hanson <br /> seconded the motion'. Mr. Hanson withdrew this motion so <br /> that more information relative to the bid could be <br /> provided. <br /> Based on Chief Ridgeway's explanation and recommendation, <br /> Mrs . Jacobson moved to accept the bid of Snap Tite Hose, <br /> Inc. at the price per unit cost as recommended by Chief <br /> Ridgeway. Mr. Carter seconded the motion. All were in <br /> favor. <br /> 3 . Graduation Ceremony of June Daley - The Board was informed, <br /> that Chief Frye will attend the graduation ceremony of June <br /> Daley from the Animal Control Officers Certification <br /> Course. <br />
