BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES - REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY, APRIL 23 , 1990 <br /> PAGE THREE <br /> OTHER NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1 . RECYCLED PAPER - Mr. Gottlieb requested that Mr. Harrington <br /> investigate the use of recycled paper for copy machines, <br /> stationery, etc. and report back to the Board with his <br /> findings . <br /> OTHER <br /> 1 . ACCEPTANCE OF DONATED PROPERTY POLICY - Mr. Lawrence moved <br /> to accept the foliowing .policy (No 90-2) : It is the policy <br /> of the Mashpee Board of Selectmen to accept donated <br /> property which: 1 . Is in an environmentally sensitive <br /> area, and/or; 2 . Abuts other publicly--owned property <br /> and/or; 3 . Would be of value to the Town for municipal <br /> purposes such as recreation, affordable housing, open <br /> space, potential resale, inclusion in land swaps, waste <br /> disposal , roadway improvement, drainage improvement, <br /> public access easements, or other purposes. Mrs. Jacobson <br /> seconded the motion and Mr. Gottlieb was in favor . <br /> 2. ANNUAL/SPECIAL TOWN MEETING WARRANTS - Mr . Lawrence <br /> Indicated to the Board that he feels it is important that <br /> the. Board meet prior to the Annual and Special Town <br /> Meetings with the Moderator present. Mr. Gottlieb <br /> suggested that the Board discuss their position on the <br /> articles at the April 30, 1990 meeting. <br /> 3 . OLD MILL BRIDGE - The Board agreed to support the request <br /> of Ernie Virgilio to request a transfer of$7,957. 28 for <br /> repairs to the Old Mill Bridge. <br /> The meeting temporarily adjourned at 7: 15 for Executive Session and <br /> reconvened at 7:45 p.m. Being no further business the meeting <br /> adjoruned at 8:00 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Debra Coughlin <br /> Board Secretary <br />
