BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES -- REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY; MARCH 19, 1990 <br /> PAGE TWO <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> #1 (Cont. ) <br /> The Board of Health had indicated to Mr. Kirrane that they <br /> had no objection to the proposal . Mrs . Mills of the <br /> Planning Board indicated their approval pending approval of <br /> the Board of Selectmen and as long as Mr. Kirrane' s client <br /> is willing to assume the .cost of the road realignment of <br /> Asher' s Path and Route 28. <br /> Mr. Hanson moved to accept the plan presented contingent on <br /> Dolphin Bay Corporation bearing the expense of the changes <br /> as shown to the intersection of Asher's Path and Route 28. <br /> Mr. Carter seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br /> 2. PERSONNEL BOARD -- Robert Sullivan and Marilyn Ferren were <br /> present relative to changes in the Personnel Administration <br /> Plan. Mr. Harrington indicated that his questions and <br /> concerns have been addressed with the exception of the <br /> effective date. <br /> Mr. Hanson moved to adopt the changes to the Personnel <br /> Administration Plan to be effective on March 20, 1990. Mr . <br /> Carter seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1 . JOB DESCRIPTION - WATERWAY COORDINATOR - The Board <br /> discussed the ,job. description of the Waterway Coordinator. <br /> Mr. Gottlieb agreed with the Personnel Board that the <br /> minimum qualifications should be a college degree, with 2 <br /> years experience. Mr. Lawrence stated that the salary <br /> should be determined before deciding on the <br /> qualifications . <br /> The Board agreed to accept the recommendations of the <br /> Personnel Board relative to qualifications . In addition, <br /> they requested a proposal on the salary, details on -the <br /> position and what other towns are paying. This information <br /> will be for presentation to the Board of Selectmen next <br /> week. <br />
