TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING <br /> February 10, 1999 <br /> The Design Review Committee met at 6 : 30 p.m. on Wednesday, <br /> February 10 , 1999 at the Lower Level of Mashpee Town Hall . <br /> Committee Members Present : William Hauck, Ex Officio; Ed <br /> Govoni, Chairman; and Thomas F. O'Hara. <br /> Absent : Mary LeBlanc . It was mentioned Ms . LeBlanc stopped <br /> by town hall earlier in the day to offer her input on agenda <br /> items . <br /> 1. Andy' s Market, 425 Nathan Ellis Highway, Route 151 - Sign <br /> Original drawings were examined. It was agreed the picture <br /> frames will be white, all trim will be white including the <br /> trim on the roof . It was suggested that some of the burgundy <br /> color be removed. Only the awnings and the sign will be <br /> burgundy. The signs will be burgundy with gold leaf . <br /> The large roof will consist of architectural shingles : <br /> The kick board will be dark gray. <br /> Regarding the matter of landscaping, it was noted the island <br /> belongs to the town. <br /> 2 . Dunkin' Donuts, 401 Main Street, Route 130 <br /> Mr. Mike Day of Day Sign Co. displayed plans for a 2-sided, <br /> 42" x 59" cedar sign. It measures less than 20 sq. ft; <br /> estimated height is 76" . The main sign will be placed 12 ft . <br /> back from the property line . The background will be white <br /> with- gold lettering. The posts will be 6x6, and L-brackets <br /> will be used. <br /> Direction signs are acceptable . <br /> The long sign placed on the building will also be less than 20 <br /> sq. ft .
