Mashpee Design Review Committee <br /> Minutes of Meeting Held Wednesday,April 2, 2003 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 3 <br /> Committee Members Present: Walter Yarosh, Mary LeBlanc, Thomas O'Hara(arrived 9:47 <br /> a.m.), and Russell Wheeler(arrived 9:45 a.m.). <br /> Absent: Edward Govoni, and Don Myers. <br /> Audience: Gregory Enos. <br /> Summar <br /> a Deer Crossing—Edwin Watts Golf(old Factory Shoe Mart)—50.4 square foot <br /> awning/signage stamped approved. <br /> • Mike's Service Station—Stamped approved as noted on Plans. <br /> • Deer Crossing Complex—To be continued to April 16, 2003 Meeting. <br /> Meeting came to order at 9:30 a.m. <br /> Signs <br /> Deer Crossing <br /> Awning and Menu si ngnage—Edwin Watts Golf(old Factory Shoe Mart) <br /> Tory Upham and Kurt Maimaron were present and submitted revised photos and also submitted <br /> drawings for review. They provided a corporate letter to show yellow is the corporate color. <br /> Conclusion: 50.4 square feet awning/signage stamped approved. <br /> Site Plan and Landscape Review <br /> Mike's Service Station...Gary Bourne of Bourne Petroleum, Ltd. presented revised Plans. He <br /> mentioned that they are asking ZBA for a canopy permit. Consensus was that the revised Plans <br /> are a nice improvement. Mr. Bourne stated he would come back for sign design approval. The <br /> Site Plan was then reviewed and landscaping discussed. It was suggested that he move the <br /> grouping of plants in front down and spread them out more. Mary suggested various spruce tree <br /> types that do well on Cape. Also, it was suggested that they do fencing at back of property for <br /> security purposes. <br /> Conclusion: Stamped approved as noted on the Plans. <br /> Deer Crossing Complex...Continued to April 16, 2003 Meeting. However,Russ Wheeler is to <br /> ask Pat to call and request that when they come to the meeting they should bring existing Plan so <br /> Design Review can view changes. They should also bring in color selection samples. <br />
