It was pointed out
by Design Review that the proposed sign is over the 5% allotment;therefore has to be reduced so as not to
infringe on other tenant's signage right. Mr. Walsh stated that nothing is being proposed for lighting. He was
informed that if they do look into lighting in the future, that gooseneck is a suggestion to consider.
Conclusion: Reduce sign to 24"; and placement is critical. Be certain to stay within roofline and leave
buffer. Stamped with Approval with requirements to be met as noted.
Deer Crossing, 681 Falmouth Road
Subwa
Eric McCarthy and Fernanda McCarthy(owners)presented proposals for 2 signs-1 a roadway sign; the other
on the building. Only building sign had to be reviewed; the roadway sign was standard. The size of the
building sign was discussed, as well as lighting requirements. Eric and Fernanda said they were doing nothing
with lighting and would check on the size requirements and reduce the sign size to conform to the requirements.
Conclusion: Stamped with Approval with requirement noted that sign must meet sign by-law
requirements.
Site Plan and Landscape Review
Carpet Barn
106 Falmouth Road
Linda Martinho presented proposal, which was discussed with Design Review. It was the consensus of Design
Review to use the peak of the site in tallying size and that 2' letters can be used since it would look aesthetically
better and would add balance since this would match the other tenant's signage lettering.
Conclusion: Stamped approved with note that letters will match Boston Interior lettering.
