Mashpee Design Review Committee <br /> Minutes of Meeting Held Wednesday,November 12,2003 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 3 <br /> Committee Members Present: Walter Yarosh, Thomas O'Hara, and Mary LeBlanc. <br /> Absent: Gregory Enos,Russell Wheeler,Edward Govoni, and Don Myers. <br /> Summary <br /> • The Mello Mushroom Pizzeria—Stamped approved. <br /> • 57 Industrial Drive(John Bigwood)—Building only stamped approved;to return to Design Review with <br /> scaled site plan redrawn and showing landscape to scale. Also photos of site,to be submitted to Design <br /> Review. <br /> • 735 Falmouth Road(Michael Talbot)—Stamped approved with conditions final landscape plan to be <br /> fled with Design Review for review and approval; no parking within proposed side yard landscape <br /> buffers; and will need a special permit. <br /> Walter Yarosh, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 8 a.m. <br /> Signs <br /> The Mello Mushroom Pizzeria <br /> 439 Nathan Ellis Highway. Unit#7 <br /> Tracey A. Reilly appeared and showed proposed sign that will be a replacement for same size as existing sign. <br /> Tracey will complete and submit the necessary sign permit application form. <br /> Conclusion: Stamped approved. <br /> Site Plan and Landscape Review <br /> 57 Industrial Drive <br /> John Bigwood <br /> od <br /> John Bigwood and John Slavinsky showed site plans for lot next to Comfort Man. They are going to request a <br /> variance from ZBA. <br /> After discussing areas that would be required to be paved for handicap access, etc.,the applicant indicated it <br /> would probably now be better for them to pave most of the area and just leave crushed stone down by dumpster <br /> area at corner of lot. Following are some of the highlights of the detailed discussion: <br /> • Detention swells will be grassed. <br /> I • Scrub trees that are there will be left. <br /> • Applicant said they will have irrigation. <br /> { • Mary offered suggestions for plantings to provide "screening" for residential areas. <br /> r� <br /> I` <br />
