Mashpee Design Review Committee 4 Minutes of Meeting Held Thursday,April 29,2004 .� Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 3 Committee Members Present: Walter Yarosh,Robert Nelson, and Mary LeBlanc (arrived 8:35 a.m.). Chief Baker(Fire Dept.) also present. Absent: Thomas O'Hara,Russell Wheeler, and Don Myers. Summary • Dunkin' Donuts and Boston Market at Stop and Shop—signs approved. • White House Black Market—sign approved. Francisco Tavares—3 signs approved subject to comments written on approval document. Existing signage ladder to be changed to move added signage inside existing freestanding sign. • 31 Mohican Apartment Approval—Approved as noted. Chief Baker will communicate to Board of Appeals and to Assessor that if a kitchen is put in then it will need fire alarm and also the one-hour fire separation requirement will have to be met. Chief Baker also suggested that perhaps in cases such as this the ZBA permit should be for, say, 2 years and then owner has to renew permit,which would require building inspection to be certain all fire code requirements are met. • Cape and Island Homes, 129 Industrial Drive, Frank and Kimberly Silva--Applicant to submit exterior elevation plans to Building Department for Design Review to review. They will do this immediately so Design Review can look at them in time before Applicant's scheduled May 12 hearing before Board of Appeals. • Buildings17 and 29 Mashpee Commons—Approved Ann Taylor sign and north elevation(Building 17). Mashpee Commons will provide Design Review with parking plan that will include calculation breakdown to show parking requirements are being met and that size of parking space meets requirements. Walter Yarosh, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. Signs Dunkin' Donuts and Boston Market At Stop and Shop AAgnoli Signpan. Inc. No appearance by Applicant. The signage requested is well under requirement and consistent with what was done previously. Conclusion: Signage Approved. White House Black Market Building 7,Mashpee Commons Kim Saariaho. Cape Code_Sign Company No appearance by Applicant. Application reviewed. Conclusion: Sign approved.
