Mashpee Design Review Committee Minutes of Meeting Held Thursday, September 23,2004 Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 3 Committee Members Present: Walter Yarosh, Thomas O'Hara, Lee Gurney,Mary LeBlanc, Richard Stevens, and Robert Nelson. Summary • K.C. Coombs School--Sign stamped approved. • Harwich Concrete Block— Sign stamped approved with condition that maximum height is 10 feet to top of sign. • Boys & Girls Club of Cape Cod—Did not have proposal to review so referred to Building Department. • Clover Paving— Site Plan approved per comments noted on Site Plan; and Landscape Plan approved per comments noted on Landscape Plan and also per Mary LeBlanc's September 20 memo to Clover(copy of the memo attached to printed set of these minutes). In addition, Clover to bring back the stamped approved Landscape Plan to Building Department since only one copy was submitted and Building j Department requires the approved copy for their files. Walter Yarosh, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. Sims K.C. Coombs School Brad Tripp Reviewed proposed sign submitted and all requirements were met. Conclusion: Stamped approved. Harwich Concrete Block Brian Baslik Brian Baslik stated that although Harwich had previously obtained approval for a sign they were going to downsize the size due to community concerns. The submitted proposal for downsized version was reviewed and discussed. Concerns were raised about the height of the sign being proposed. Conclusion: Sign stamped approved with condition that maximum height is 10 feet to top of sign. Boys& Girls Club of Cape Cod 31 Frank Hicks Drive i George Noonan appeared and said they are looking to place a 2X4 size sign to mark their driveway,but he did not have anything to show their proposal. Design Review referred him to Building Department, who would assist him. i`
