It is my understanding that the project would include the reconstruction <br /> of the existing VFW building as a restaurant and office containing 9,656 square feet and <br /> the construction of a new cinema building that would consist of 9,960 square feet. As a <br /> commercial project consisting of 19,616 square feet of floor area,it is the position of the <br /> Commission staff that this project exceeds the DRI threshold set forth in Section 3(e) of <br /> the DRI Enabling Regulations. Therefore,it should be referred to the C->mmission as a <br /> Development of Regional Impact. <br /> Please be aware that this is an informal Commission staff position.
