Mashpee Design Review Committee <br /> Minutes of Meeting Held Thursday,June 14,2007 �! <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 1 <br /> Committee Members Present: Thomas O'Hara,Walter Yarosh, Robert Nelson, Tom Jalowy, and Richard Stevens. <br /> Summary <br /> • NB new balance—Stamped Approved. <br /> + Creative Home Innovations/Sprint-Not Approved. <br /> Thomas O'Hara, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. for the purpose of reviewing signage applications. <br /> Suns <br /> 30 Bates Road <br /> Applicant—Robert Minihane <br /> NB new balance <br /> ViewPoint Sigpn and Awning <br /> Robert Minihane presented revised signage proposed. <br /> Conclusion: Stamped approved. <br /> 29 Commercial Street <br /> Awning Signs <br /> Creative Home Innovations/Sprint <br /> Applicant—Robert Grindrod <br /> Robert Grindrod appeared. It was the consensus of the committee that the signage was not acceptable as presented and <br /> applicant was asked whether they came up with any alternative. Mr. Grindrod said he has to contact Sprint since this is <br /> their corporate colors. Mr. Grindrod explained he has 2 business permits since there are two businesses at the location. <br /> He is at one side; Sprint at the other. Walter Yarosh explained signage allowance under the by-law and that the whole <br /> awning is the sign and is counted in the 20 square feet allowed. Walter also suggested to keep in mind what signage is <br /> and to get a copy of town by-law regarding signage.
