Following issues were discussed during the review of the plans:
• Landscaping Plan—John Slavinsky stated this is same as plans permitted but added more.
Tom Jalowy noted on the Landscape Plan size of trees to be planted, etc.
• -No outside storage.
• Will apply for signage later when they know what is needed.
• Sheldon Hamblin questioned auto repair use noted on architectural plan. John Slavinsky
and Bob Bevelacqua said this is not correct. There will be no auto repair. They said other
than the auto repair, the architectural plans are correct.
• Sheldon point out that the building use group is what drives the fire protection required.
• Off the use table, they are only using 4, 5, and 6. Charlie Maintanis cautioned them that .
anything added to the use table from the list will require them to come back for review.
• If not mixed use, one-hour firewall is sufficient. But if you change use then need more
than 1-hour rating firewall.
• If mixed use, then need 2-hour firewall or put sprinklers in the building, which may be
easier.
• Sheldon pointed out it is important to understand the differences between the building
code uses and the zoning code because people don't always understand that you may be
able to do it under the zoning code, but not able to do it under the building code.
