Mashpee Design Review Committee V Minutes of Meeting Held Thursday,June 28,2007 Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 1 Committee Members Present: Thomas O'Hara, Walter Yarosh,Robert Nelson, Tom Jalowy, and Richard Stevens. Summary • Heather Restaurant—Stamped Approved. • Kooharian Fine Art--Stamped Approved with requirement to keep total signage under 20 square feet. • Mad Platter, Mashpee Commons-Not approved. Thomas O'Hara, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. for the purpose of reviewing signage applications. I aim Heather Restaurant, South Cape Village 20 Joy Street Owner—Matt C2aLey- Paul Luszcz of Zebra Visuals appeared with Matt Conley. Design Review Committee commented that the signs look great--one of the best signs presented for approval. Conclusion: Stamped approved. Kooharian Fine Art, South Cape Village 15 Joy Street AMlicant—David Koorharian and Don Depolo Tammy Depolo presented the proposed signage, as well as a description of printing to possibly go on the door. Design Review Committee advised applicant that some of the signage proposed did not have to be reviewed for approval because they were under size. Applicant was advised that they should keep total signage under 20 square feet, which includes signage on the door. Conclusion: Stamped Approved with requirement to keep total signage under 20 square feet. Mad Platter, Mashpee Commons 5 North Market Street John Renz and Tom Ferond John Rent and Tom Feronti of Mashpee Commons appeared. Prior to addressing Mad Platter signage, John Renz asked for clarification and asked if they could be given any documentation on rules governing signage in Mashpee Commons. He said it was his understanding that only those signs visible from 28 and 151 roadways had to be approved by Design Review;otherwise they did not have to be approved.
