Minutes of Combined Meeting of <br /> Mashpee Design Review Committee and <br /> Mashpee Plan Review Committee <br /> Held Thursday,July 12,2007 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 1 <br /> Design Review Members Present: Thomas O'Hara, Waiter Yarosh, Robert Nelson, Tom <br /> Jalowy, and Richard Stevens. <br /> Plan Review Members Present: <br /> Richard Stevens,Building Inspector <br /> Charlie Maintanis,Local Inspector <br /> George Baker, Fire Chief <br /> Glen Harrington,Health Agent(arrived 10:10 a.m.) <br /> Drew McManus, Assistant Conservation Agent <br /> Tom Fudala, Town Planner <br /> Catherine Laurent,Assistant Director DPW <br /> Joel Clifford—Fire Department <br /> Meeting called to order at 9:07 a.m. <br /> PROJECTS FOR REVIEW: <br /> 680 Falmouth Road <br /> Map 81/Parcel 24A <br /> Owner—C. Talanian Realty Co., Inc. <br /> Applicant—Ernie Virgilio <br /> Request to demo and rebuild retail buiidin <br /> Ernie Virgilio and Matthew Eddy appeared. Matt presented a revised site plan stating they <br /> revisited the plan and tried to make adjustments. He said they eliminated the parking spaces as. <br /> the Committee suggested at the last meeting and they added the dumpster;they held 5-foot buffer.- <br /> and 17-foot aisle. Following are highlights discussed during the review: <br /> • Building not on septic; they are connected via a grinder pump. They are going to <br /> eliminate the septic tank to have a straight line to the grinder pump. <br /> • Suggestion made by Waiter they move handicap parking space to other side to enable <br /> driver of van to have enough space to exit vehicle. <br /> • Drew McManus stated there is evidence of wetlands down at bank. Ernie Virgilio and <br /> Matt Eddy said they were not aware of any wetlands. It was requested that Applicant's <br /> engineer should provide Conservation with a letter stating no wetland there. <br /> • Tom Fudala asked: Why are you keeping curb cut? Matt Eddy responded that they are <br /> running into interference with other owner so entrances being left as they are. <br /> • Tom Fudala asked how there are 2 owners on one lot. Matt said he can't answer; it is a <br /> condo lot,but he can't answer anything about that. When asked if it ever was 2 lots, Tom <br /> Fudala said that according to assessors map it was 2 lots at one time. <br /> • Landscape plan will be provided for the site, including where asphalt being removed. <br />
