Mashpee Design Review Committee ✓� /J / <br /> Minutes of Meeting Held Thursday,August 23, 2007 "'� <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 1 <br /> Committee Members Present: Walter Yarosh,Robert Nelson, Tom Jalowy, and Richard Stevens. <br /> Absent: Thomas O'Hara. <br /> Walter Yarosh, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. <br /> Suns <br /> 49 Restaurant <br /> 8 Ryans Way <br /> Carol Bugbee, TAGR Corporation <br /> Exterior building change <br /> 99 Restaurant also requests a change to exterior colors and add exterior brick corners <br /> New awning and wall lights <br /> Thomas Wilburn Director of Construction <br /> Carol Bugbee began by addressing the signage. She showed photos of signage and stated that there are 3 <br /> current signs they want to replace as follows: <br /> 1. Original free-standing sign for which they had been given a variance. All committee members liked the <br /> new replacement sign, saying it is narrower and will look better. <br /> 2. Current sign that is 61.5 square feet will be replaced with 43.2 square foot sign. Same illumination will <br /> be used. Sign will not rise above roof. <br /> 3. Right-side elevation sign will replace horseshoe with non-illuminated lettering 17.8 square feet. <br /> Conclusion: All 3 replacement signs stamped approved. <br /> Next, Thomas Wilburn addressed the committee and said the Mashpee 99 Restaurant plans to do remodeling <br /> around October 1s1. He said inside they'll do carpeting in the dining room,white ceilings, and hanging lamps to <br /> give an upscale look. Mr. Wilburn explained the color changes and showed photos of what the outside <br /> remodeling will look like. The Committee reviewed the exterior building plans and said everything looked <br /> good except the brick columns at the ends of the building...the wood columns looked better. Also, if they were <br /> wood and painted with the same dark green used at trim of the building it would be attractive. Mr. Wilburn <br /> agreed and said they would do that. <br /> Conclusion: Stamped Approved with agreement that columns at building ends will be wood, not brick, <br /> and would be painted in same dark green used around windows. <br />
