800 Falmouth Road continued
• Tom Fudala commented that he sees no problem, as long as concrete walkway, etc. gets restored. When
temporary done, everything has to go back to how it was originally.
• Walter Yarosh suggested they be in touch with the other tenant to be sure there are no issues. George
Gakidis said they have already done this and will reconnect with the other tenant.
• It was again stressed to Applicant that this will be fine as long as they restore everything the way it was
originally—for example, parking spaces, walkway, curbing, etc.
• Glen Harrington asked: Have you been through the business use permit process? Applicant said, not
yet.
Conclusion: Red flag Certificate of Occupancy to make sure condition of parking lot, etc. are what they
are now. While temporary structure is in place it must have afire alarm system tied into the building.
When applying for building permit application, applicant will provide photos of what is there now.
46 Nicoletta's Way
Cape Cod Bio Diesel
Representatives—Dan Groves and Eric Gnee
Don Groves and Eric Gnee appeared. They said they are looking to start a company that produces BioDiesel
fuel at 46 Nicoletta's Way. They said they are using a different process than what the previous applicant used.
There is no wastewater from this process. They presented a sheet and flow chart to show the process they use.
They said the building they'd occupy is behind Maffei Landscaping. It is Building 2 and they are taking the last
3 bays for a total of 3,000 square feet. The charts are attached to the printed set of these minutes.
The process sheet and flow chart were reviewed by the Committee and discussed with applicants. Walter
Yarosh said if not done already then someone has to do a code analysis for the use they're proposing. He
pointed out that building has a metal roof so an analysis has to be run. It was also pointed out to the applicants
that the Building Department requires the document to be stamped by a site engineer.
The Committee mentioned that since they don't-occupy the whole building then there are 2 use groups in the
building. They were aware of this and said the landlord said they could probably rent the whole building and
the other tenants would be moved to another building.
Glen Harrington mentioned that he had already given the applicants information regarding personal protection,
etc. Glen pointed out that everything is above ground. Applicants said they are also going to be selling clean
vegetable oil as a means of getting the used vegetable oil. They plan to store it on shelving units.
Conclusion: This is a Special Permit use, but applicants must come back to Plan Review when they get
code analysis and submit plans to Plan Review prior to meeting so plans can be reviewed and placed on
Plan Review Meeting Agenda. Also applicants should submit building floor plan and on the plan show
what you intend to do. Also provide site plan so Committee can see which building you occupy.
Approval of Minutes...The Minutes of June 12, 2008'were approved.
Adjournment...Meeting adjourned at 10 a.m.
Wan Giliberti
Recording Secretary
2
