A letter will b.e =sent to Chief Dills with,-a request <br /> that this be explained. <br /> A letter from Board ofS�_lectmen regarding recently ,passed legislation, <br /> Chapter 62, concerning increasing of probationary_ period for certain police officers <br /> was °read. This change will be noted for insertion in the proposed police contract. <br /> A 'letter dated May 12, 1976 from Board of Selectmen was 'read noting Town <br /> Counsel's advise on Town's obligation to continue to pay Detective George Costa . <br /> until such time his appeal is 'settled. It was noted in this letter that Town Counsel <br /> and Board of Selectmen will be meeting with a representative of Barnstable County <br /> Retirement Board Association to discuss this matter., <br /> A memo will be Eent to Jerry DePalma, stating that the Personnel Board wishes to <br /> meet with lifeguard applicants for the 1.976 season on June 8, 1976 at 7:15 p.m. <br /> Applicants must have an application prepared for files. ' <br /> The completed salary survey from Sandwich, MA will be obtained from the Select- <br /> men's office and copied for all Board members. _ <br /> A memo from Executive Secretary Hicks dated May 16, 1976 was read concerning <br /> the appointment of Vincent Lopez as a skilled laborer for the Highway Department on <br /> an emergency basis fD r the period 6/1/76 - 6/30/76.
