TOWN OF MASHPEE. <br /> PERSONNEL BOARD' <br /> Minutes of Meeting, March 29, 1976, 7:30 p.m. <br /> • PRESENTc W.S. Clendenin, R.A. Graham, R.A.' Maxim, K. Parolski, F. Leonardi <br /> A letter was read from the Board of Selectmen accepting�Mr. Clendenin's <br /> request that he not be re-appointed to the Personnel Board and confirming <br /> a later appointment to the Personnel Board in May of Frank Leonardi.. Mr. - <br /> Leonardi will be attending Board meetings in the meantime in order to familiarize <br /> himself with the Board's functions and personnel matters. <br /> Mr. Clendenin reported that he met today in Boston with Attorney Kowal <br /> to go over the proposed Police contract. Attorney Kowal will be asked-to <br /> attend a meeting on April 2, 1976 with the Personnel Board and the Mashpee <br /> Police Association to discuss thiscontract. <br /> The Personnel Board is awaiting salary information and other pertinent <br /> information from several other,Towns., in order to substantiate any salary <br /> and wage re-classificat ion in the SAP. The Board has assured the Town <br /> employees that it will make every effort to consider their requests as <br /> quickly as possible, but that it must have certain researched-information <br /> before any decisions can be made. <br /> A letter from the Selectmen was noted, confirming the appointment of <br /> Paul Mills as temporary Director of the-Indian Museum for a three month <br /> period, Maintenance/Groundsman position will be temporarily filled until <br /> after Annual Town Meeting, at which time the ,position will be filled permanently <br /> upon favorable vote. . <br /> The secretarial position at the Museum is being advertised in the Cape' <br /> Cod Times and Falmouth' lgnterprise as a 20 hour per week, seasonal position. <br /> The appointment of Frank E. Hicks was confirmed by a letter from the <br /> Selectmen, as of March 1, 1976 at a salary based on $12,608 yearly.. <br /> The Personnel Board will recommend ,to the Selectmen for the position <br /> of Harbormaster the following individuals. R.A. Graham, Chester Koblensky, <br /> and Peter T. Durmer. <br /> Having no further business ,; the meeting was adjourned. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> jsa <br />
