i <br /> Minutes of the-Personnel Eoard i4eeting of September 27, 1976 <br /> The meeting of the Personnel Board was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Frank - <br /> Leonardi, Chairman 'i-rith board members Wilma Graham, Chester Brown, John Peters <br /> and Ken PArolski att6nding. <br /> The minutes of the .September 20th.meeting were accepted as presented. <br /> A letter dated September-. 21, 1976 from the Sequoia Insurance Agency advising <br /> us that the Fireman's Fund would now be sending all Workmen's Compensation <br /> checks to the Treasurer's office for distribution was read and filed. <br /> Communication was received from Town Counsel., Robert A. Bianchi--Staff and <br /> Bianchi' regarding Sgt. George Costa, Involuntary Retirement rioted and filed. <br /> The step rate increase requested by the Board of Selectmen for Marie Fitzgerald <br /> to Grade 6, Step 21tourly rate of $2.97 effective September 18, 1976 approved. ` <br /> The following'vaeations were approved: <br /> B. Jean Thomas 10/12-10/22/76 - <br /> Burley Greene, Jr. 11/15-11/26/76 <br /> Oliver Pocknett .10/1-11/5/76 <br /> George-F. Green, Jr. 10/12-10/13/76 <br /> Three days leave to the credit of Marcia Ducharme restored as requested by <br /> Chief Bingham. <br /> Mrs. Diana M. Pierce was hired as a part-time clerk typist in- the Police Department <br /> working a maximum, of 19 hours per week,:-.at the rate of $2.64 per hour effective <br /> October 4, 1976. <br /> The new proposed Salary Administration 'Plan is to be further discussed on <br /> Tuesday, September 28th at the home of Wilma Graham at 7:00 o'clock. <br /> The meeting•was adjourned at 9,20 P.M. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Irene Kosarick <br />
