Minutes , Personnel Board, 2/9/76 . . . . . . . . . . . . . .page 2 <br /> Concerning Comservation Commission's request for information and approval for <br /> use of a part-time secretary, the Board will state that the beginning hourly rate <br /> for secretaries is $2.90 (Grade 6, Step 1) , and will note the guaranteed minimum <br /> salary of four hours for evening meetings, A list of individuals who have indicated <br /> they would be interested in part-time work will be enclosed. <br /> In connection with Chief Bingham.'s request for additional hours for Denise <br /> P. Fitzgerald, part-time clerk/typist, the Hoard has approved an additional nine <br /> hours, or_::a maximum of nineteen hours per week, This increase in hours, when <br /> needed, would of coarse be subject to Police Department having the necessary funds <br /> for the balance of the fiscal year 1975/76. <br /> In connection with the Board of Selectmen's letter of January 30, 1976 <br /> concerning preparation by the Personnel Board of necessary recommendations regarding <br /> town employees' salaries and benefits for upcoming Town Meeting, Mr. Clendenin will <br /> meet with Selectmen to di.scuss this and other pressing matters. <br /> A copy of a letter from the Board of Governors, Mashpee Indian Museum, to the <br /> Board of Selectmen. dated February 2, 1976 was noted. This concerned a request to <br /> Selectmen to clarify its position as to whether the Board. of Governors of the Museum <br /> or the Personnel Board is to make a selection of a new Director-Curator for the <br /> Museum. <br /> • The Personnel Board's budget for the fiscal year 1976/77 will. be submitted to <br /> the Finance Committee on February 10, 1976. <br /> Appointments will be set up for each department head with the Personnel Board. <br /> on February 23, 1976 for the purpose of reviewing salary figures for 1976/77 fiscal <br /> year. <br /> Personnel Board will meet Wednesday evening, February 11, 1976 at Mr. Graham's <br /> offiee in Mashpee. <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 10:15 p,m, <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> jsa <br /> 4 <br /> t . <br />
