SPECIAL MEETING <br /> July 28, 1986 <br /> A Special meeting was held by both the Planning iloard .and <br /> the Board of Appeals on Wednesday, July 28, 1986 at H . . <br /> at the Mashpee Town Hail on Fields Point Corporation. <br /> Members of the Planning Board sitting were: RtJhzaxdi - ibin, <br /> Tony Gerragamo, Judy Mills, Richardson Jonas and Michele Stone. <br /> Members of the Board of Appeals sitting were: William <br /> Hanrahan, Manuel Costa and Michael Makunas. <br /> Mashpee Selectmen, Jean Thomas, William Hanson and Peter <br /> Lawrence were also in attendance. <br /> Mr. Joseph Reardon, Town Council, Tom Fudula, Town Planner, <br /> Mr. Douglas Boyd, Building Inspector, Patricia White, Building <br /> Inspectors secretary were also in attendance. <br /> Mr. William Hanrahan, held the Chairmans seat at the meeting. <br /> Mr. Reardon stated he requested the Town Planner to request <br /> permission of both Chairmans of the Boards to hold this meeting. <br /> Mr. Reardon stated the purpose of this meeting is to resolve <br /> a potential dispute or suggested litigation that may be forth- <br /> coming as a result of the Planning Boards unhappiness with a <br /> decision that was rendered by the Board of Appeals for Fields <br /> Point Corporation. <br /> Mr. Dubin stated there really is not a dispute as much as <br /> just procedural questions. Mr. Dubin stated by the time they <br /> found out about the decision it was at an emergency situation. <br /> Mr. Dubin stated there was alot of disagreement over the fact <br /> that there might have been a procedural lack of conformity with <br /> the Statute which would be resolved along the lines of the memo- <br /> randum of understanding. <br /> Mr. Reardon stated the Town Planner made an appointment <br /> with him last Thursday afternoon to discuss this matter. He <br /> stated Mr. Makunas was in attendance at this meeting and being <br /> a member of the Board of Appeals was asked to sit down and listen <br /> to the issues being discussed. <br /> Mr. Reardon stated at this meeting a issue was raised re- <br /> lative to the Zoning By-Law which imposes a requirement that <br /> the Zoning Board of Appeals forward to the Planning Board of <br /> the detailed plans that were submitted for a mixed use Special <br /> Permit and that the Planning Board has thirty days in which to <br /> filed a connotary. Mr. Reardon stated that requirement was not <br /> followed. He stated in speaking with Mr. Makunas that it was <br /> an oversight on the Zoning Board of Appeals and that there was <br /> no intention to deviate from it. Mr. Reardon stated he under- <br />
