Personnel Board's <br /> Minutes of October 4, 1982 Page 5 <br /> Request for Leave - Patrolman Heim <br /> • e' requested the Personnel Board to approve two and one-half days <br /> Patrolman Heim re H <br /> � pp s of y <br /> unearned vacation time in conjunction with two and one-half days of earned vaca- <br /> tion time. He signed a memo to the effect that if he were to discontinue his ser- <br /> vice with the Mashpee police Department before the days are earned, the two and one- <br /> half days salary would be deducted from his pay. The Board voted to uphold approving <br /> this request until they received word back from the Selectmen as to their feeling on <br /> the firefighter's vacation policy. <br /> Cape & Islands Fuel Assistance Program <br /> The Board was advised that a fuel assistance program will be starting the week of <br /> October 18 on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and continue' each week until <br /> further notice at the town hall. <br /> Eye Mobile <br /> The Board was also informed that the Lions Club will be having an eye mobile free of <br /> charge on October 23 and 24 at the rotary and has invited town employees to attend. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 7:50 p.m. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be on <br /> October 18, 1982. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Marilyn F ren <br /> Secretary to Personnel Board <br /> mf <br /> . 1 <br />
