Personnel Board Meeting
May 10, 1982 Page 2
• Clarification of Vacation Time under the P.A.P.
The secretary requested that the paragraph under Article XI, Section 7, of the
P.A.P. be clarified as she felt it was confusing on how it could be interpreted
for carrying over vacation time.
John Peters said that he thought when the P.A.P. was originally drawn up it was
the intent of the town to have employees take their vacation during the fiscal
year, however, allowing a provision for those individuals to carry over vacation
time if it were impossible to take the time because of the nature of their job.
The Board asked the secretary to write to Town Council for a legal interpretation
of that section of the contract.
Position Description Questionnaire
The Board reviewed the position description questionnaire from the Town Accountant.
Some of the questions on the quebti, onrai re were incomplete. The Board requested
the secretary to assist each individual under the P.A.P. with the questionnaire so
that all, the information in which they are looking fok will be included.
The meeting adjourned at 8:45p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
• Marilyn Farren
Recording Secretary
mf
