Personnel Board Minutes Meeting—of January 11 , 1988 Page 2 O—equest to Retain Name on Police Exam List , Cont . the eligibility list For that reason , Mark Frenzo ' s name was not sub- mitted to the Board. for consideration of the current position opening ; instead Joseph Yukna ' s name was. submitted for consideration . Mr . Yukna ranked second on the list . The Chief ; however , requests that Mr . Frenzo ' s name be retained on the eligibility list for possible future consideration . The Board agreed to retain Mr . Frenzo ' s name on the list and recommended Mr . Yukna for the appointment pending psychological testing and his passing the entrance examination for the police academy . Change in Psychologist One of the step ' s�in the process of hiring a police candidate is sending the person for psychological testing . The board noted that the doctor the town currently uses to do this testing is 'located in Stoneham . The Board asked the secretary to look into +obtaining names of doctors .who' do this type of testing who are located closer to the Cape . I Inter-Department Meeting The Board reviewed a memo dated January 5 from the Executive Secretary stating that the Board of Selectmen have scheduled -a town hall inter- department meeting on Friday , January 22 , . to discuss consistency of Town Hall office hours, the need for engineering services , closing of town hall officesiaduring snowstorms , the need for similar meetings in the future and anything else a department head wants to bring up to the Board of 'Selectmen . hairman Sullivan asked ' Ben Lofchie if he wished to attend the meeting . Ben eclined . Chairman Sullivan said that he would try to attend and if he couldn ' t , he would contact the secretary . Meeting With Senior Citizen Director and Chairman of C . O.A . The Board met with the Chairman of the C . O. A: ,�Terri - Hyde-Reed , and the Director , Bob Connell . Chairman Hyde-Reed submitted a six-month performance appraisal to the Board for their review . The Board also reviewed a memo from Chairman ' Hyde-Reed dated January 11 stating that the Mashpee Council on Aging unanimously voted to request the Personnel Board to include an article in the warrant to see if the Town will vote to upgrade the Senior Citizen Director ' s position from Grade 8 to Grade 13 . Chairman Sullivan asked if they had reviewed the salaries of other directors . Chairman Hyde-Reed stated that they had and felt that this would bring the position more in line with other director positions . The Board was in agreement with the Council ' s �request to ..apgrade the Director ' s posi- tion to Grade 13 and voted to include it in their 'karticle to upgrade other positions listed under Appendix' A of the Pr.A .'P . + * The Council also requested that the .Board consider changing the job title to �ouncil on Aging Director" from-•Senior Citizen Director . The Board concurred .
