PEF:SONNEL BOARD MEETING OF APRIL 1 3 , -1 989 MASHPEE TOWN HALL. The following Personnel Board members were present for today ' s meeting : Robert Sullivan , Chairman , C . Ben Lofchie , Manuel Glickman and Ed Baker . Also present during the meeting were members of the Conservation Commission : Gertrude Farraday , Louise Behrman and Patrick Coffey . The Board met for the purpose of interviewing one additional can- didate for the .position of Conservation Agent . Other candidates .for the position were interviewed on Monday , Apra ) 10 . Julie Lundgren met with the Board at 10 : 30 a .m . She was advised of the salary for the position and job requirements . Julie ' s background has been part-time and temporary jobs in related Conservation work . iShe received a B . S . Degree in Wildlife and -a M . S . Degree in Botany . The candidate felt that she had strengths in all parts of the job description except that she was unfamiliar with the Herring Warden ' s responsibility . Ms . Lundgren told the Board that her goal i's to be in the conservation field and hoped to continue working with combin- ing scientific aspects rather than just pursuing field work positions . After the intervewing process , the Board narrowed down the finalists to : ( 1 ) Robert Sherman , ( 2 ) Renee King and ( 3 ) Julie Lundgren . The Conservation Commission was also in agreement . Note : Manuel Glickman left the meeting after the interviews . Meeting With Town Accountant The Town Accountant , Diane Rommelmeyer met with the Board regarding a request for the Personnel Board to support her article for a part- time permanent, Clerk/Bookkeeper for twenty-five hours weekly on a per- manent basis . The Accountant told the Board that there is more work in her office than the number of man hours assigned . The position will Yie slotted in at a Grade 4 , Step 1 of the Appendix A . A draft of the job description was presented to the Board for their review . The Board asked that it be formatted , dated and thht the supervisor be added to it .- Personnel Board Minutes Ed Baker moved to accept the minutes of the Personnel Boa:`d from the meeting of April 10 . Ben Lofchie seconded . All in favor . Recommendation for Skilled Laborer The Board reviewed a memo from Ernest Virgilio , D.P.W. Director , recom- mending that Dwight Peters be considered for the Skilled Laborer posi- tion . The Board asked that Mr . Peters be scheduled in for an interview at their next meeting .
