PERSONNEL BOARD MINUTES <br /> MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 16, 1991 PAGE 3 <br /> Board members commented that the Personnel Board has been in favor of the <br /> reclassification for a long time . Ben Lofchie asked that a memo be sent <br /> to the Board of Selectmen to grant all part-time secretaries who work on a <br /> regular basis 15 to 19 hours the benefits as outlined in the P.A. P. Leo <br /> Turo seconded the motion. Leo commented that the monetary cost to the <br /> town is negative . All in favor. <br /> Sick Leave - Memo from Amy Mosley <br /> In a letter dated September 4 to the Personnel Board, Amy Mosley asked <br /> that .the Board grant sick leave for doctor' s appointments . Board members <br /> expressed concern that sick leave could be abused by employees not coming <br /> to work after the doctor' s appointment . After some more discussion, Ben <br /> moved to have a memo sent to Department Heads stating that the Personnel <br /> Board would leave the decision up to them as to whether the employee <br /> should take sick leave, a personal day or vacation time and whether or not <br /> the employee should .return to work. Chairman Sullivan seconded the <br /> motion .
