Approval of Minutes - Mr. Feldman discussed the minutes of <br /> the joint meeting. He emphasized the problems with <br /> transportation, and the council briefly discussed the pros and <br /> cons of the current proposal. Minutes accepted as presented. _ <br /> 2. Open Forum - No comments received. <br /> 3. Report Card Revisions - The council discussed-changes -made - ---- <br /> to the previous draft. Mr. Feldman stated that they would <br /> probably accept the revised report card format as presented. <br /> 4. Update of School Improvement Plan - Mr. Feldman stated he <br /> would review the School Improvement Plan.' Because of the <br /> reorganization, the council will drastically change for the next <br /> year. The priority of the council must be to formulate some - - - <br /> achievable academic goals for next year. Mr. Feldman proposes, <br /> —that at the next meeting, we review the School Improvement Plan <br /> and the council pwt together some things we would like to see <br /> happen (academic in nature) . Mr. Feldman reported on the grant <br /> writing subcommittee. The subcommittee submitted several 1 <br /> proposals for grants, however, the lack of a 501C(3) Nonprofit <br /> (tax exempt) status has hurt the acquisition of grants. <br /> 5. Next Meeting - The next meeting of -the Council will be on <br /> June 29, 1995, at 6:00 p.m. <br />
