Members will be added from the Board of <br /> Selectmen,Finance Committee,Board of Health and the Mashpee Water District Commission. The <br /> Sewer Commission was never consulted regarding the Warrant Article and Commissioners expressed <br /> frustration at not being contacted after so many years of working on the issue. <br /> October Town Meeting Warrant Article for Renewal of MEP Waquoit Bay Study: <br /> The three year study is being funded jointly with Falmouth. The contract has been adjusted by the <br /> State, extending the completion date from April 2009 to June 2010 because it is an Appropriation <br /> Article which requires renewal every three years. <br /> CCWPC.Items: <br /> No updates. <br /> New Developments/Existing Development Requiring Wastewater Treatment Plants: <br /> The Route 151/Old Barnstable Road property has returned to the market. No new information is <br /> available. <br /> Mashpee Village has expressed their preference to install their own treatment plant and discharge <br /> permit. According to Kevin Olson, a Mashpee Village engineer, discussions with Southport failed <br /> because the developers would not agree to an inspection of the treatment plant. The Chair questioned <br /> whether or not Mashpee Village would consider linking to the high school treatment plant and a <br /> meeting will be scheduled to discuss the possibility further. <br /> 2 <br />
