i <br /> SECTION 8: OFF-STREET PARKING <br /> 8.1 No land shall be used and no building or structure <br /> shall be erected, enlarged or used unless the off-street <br /> parking space requirements are provided as specified <br /> in this section. For the purpose of this section an en- <br /> largement of any building shall require the provision <br /> of off-street parking for the existing building as if it, <br /> were newly constructed. <br /> 8.2 Where the computation of required parking space re- <br /> sults in a fractional number, only the fraction of one- <br /> half (1/2) or more shall be counted as one. <br /> t <br /> 8.3 Required off-street parking facilities for non-resi- <br /> dential purposes and apartments shall be provided on <br /> the same lot as the principal use they are designed to <br /> serve and all parking spaces shall be paved. <br /> 8.4 Each required car space shall be not less than nine (9) <br /> if <br /> feet in width land twenty (20) feet in length exclusive <br /> of drives and maneuvering space and the total area of <br /> any parking facility for more than five (5) cars shall <br /> average at least three hundred (300) square feet per <br /> car exclusive of driveways. <br /> R �T! 8.5 Where one building is used for more than one use, <br /> t parking requirements shall be computed for each use <br /> x` (a motel with a restaurant would be required to pro- <br />, (, vide parking for both rental units and for seating <br /> t 4 '. capacity of the restaurant, a professional office in a <br /> residence must provide the space for both office use <br /> in addition to the residential requirement.) <br /> pggg� <br /> F {; <br /> 1 <br /> J <br /> _' 24 <br />
