TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> Additions and Revisions to By-laws <br /> At the Annual Town Meeting, March 3, 1969, the By- <br /> Laws were amended as follows: <br /> CHAPTER III, ARTICLE II, F. ZONING DISTRICTS, I. <br /> RESIDENCE DISTRICTS, delete subsections—``1. R-75 Resi- <br /> dence Districts, 2. R-100 District" and insert the following <br /> !` subsection: <br /> 1. R-125 District <br /> °i (a) Use:. No building shall be erected or altered and no <br /> �a <br /> building or premises shall be used for any purpose except: <br /> (1) Detached one-family dwelling, except that alterations <br /> it of single family units may be permitted, to allow use <br />' as a two-family unit by the granting of a special <br /> permit. <br /> (2) In addition to accessory uses permitted under Para- <br /> graph E of this by-law the following uses may be <br /> permitted, subject to the operator living upon the <br /> premises and to the limitations stated herein. A bill- <br /> board, signboard or advertising sign shall in no case <br /> be permitted as an accessory use, except as herein <br /> specified. The placing of a "For Sale" or "For Rent" <br /> sign shall, however, be permitted as an accessory use. <br /> A sign pertaining to a home occupation as herein spe- <br /> d ' cified, shall be permitted, provided such signs be not <br /> over three (3) square feet in area. <br /> (a) Offices for professional use and customary home <br /> occupations such as arts, crafts, service businesses, <br /> antique and gift shops, or any use determined to <br /> be of a similar character, said determination to <br /> a be made by the Board of Appeals following a <br /> petition of the land owner or owners and a special <br /> +� permit granted therefor, including <br /> only uses con- <br /> ducted in dwellings or in accessory buildings and <br /> ' involving only the services of persons living on <br /> 4 the premises and not more than one (1) other <br /> it <br /> 2 <br /> 4 <br />
