To see if the Town will vote to amend Sec- <br /> tion 1, Article 1, of Chapter 1 of the Town By-Laws to read <br /> as follows: -c <br /> (a) The annual town meeting for the appropriation <br /> of money and all other matters which shall properly <br /> come before it shall be held on the first Monday in <br /> March at 7:00 P.M. in'each year, at such.place as the <br /> Selectmen may determine. The election of officers i <br /> shall be held on the succeeding Wednesday. The <br /> Selectmen may insert in the warrant for the annual <br /> meetings .all articles and/or petitions, signed by ten <br /> or more legal voters, which shall have been delivered ? <br /> to the Selectmen, or either of them, or the Town Clerk, <br /> Oil or before the first Monday of January in each year; <br /> but the Selectmen,may insert in said warrant any ar- <br /> ticle or articles received b them after said first Mon- <br /> Y <br /> day in January, if in their judgment it is advisable to ti' <br /> do so, and whenever it is .possible, shall; before calling <br /> a special town meeting, insert in a local newspaper a <br /> notice specifying the last day upon which articles to <br /> be inserted in the warrant`for such meetings shall be <br /> presented to the Selectmen or Town Clerk. The war- <br /> rant for the annual meeting shall also designate the <br /> Y n <br /> town,officers who are to be chosen by ballot, and their <br /> respective terms of office. <br /> (b) All Town Reports from each department, elected of <br /> appointed officials shall be delivered to the Selectmen <br /> or TownClerk on or-before the first Monday of Janu_ <br /> ary in each year, <br />
