Wasil the sum of $55.00 on account standing in the names of a parcel of land on DeGrasse-Road, s , of Thomas E. Smith and Bernice D. Smith, which was erron- eously conveyed to said Edward R. Wasil and IHeleana M_ Wasil by.deed of the :Town Treasurer dated December 17, 1964, and recorded in the Barnstable County Deeds Book 1284, Page 615 in which the Town had no title. Article amended to read: To see if the Town will vote to pay Edward R. Wasil and Heleana M. Wasil the sum of $55.00 on account of a parcel of land on DeGrasse Road, standing in the names of Thomas E. •K Smith and Bernice D. Smith, dated December 17, 1964" and recorded in the Barnstable County Deeds Book 1284, Page 615 in which the Town had no title. Action: Motion made and seconded to take from avail- able.funds. To see if the Town will grant an easement to'widen the brook (or creek) across town owned land listed as the Schneider property in the Plan Book 172, Page 59 to a 50:foot,width, from former Carlton property to Qckway Bay _ to allow access to salt water for the new marine district cre- ated by the Annual Town Meeting in 1966, or take any other action thereon. Action: Motion made and seconded that article be ac- cepted as read. Motion_ was lost by negative ? voice vote. Article 17. To see what the concensus of this Town Meeting is in regard to Bill 1744'in the Legislature asking for the acquisition by the State of South Cape Beach. y�,
