The Chairman then made reference to a letter addressed to the Mashpee Planning <br /> Board from the Applicant requesting the Public Hearing in this matter be continued to <br /> Wednesday, February 18, 2009 in order to address comments of concern that have been <br /> raised: Also, the property owner, Mr. Talanian will be out of the country until the <br /> beginning of February, and would like to be able to attend the Planning Board Meeting. <br /> MOTION: Dennis Balzarini made a Motion to continue the Public Hearing in <br /> this matter to February 18, 2009 at 7:15 p.m., as requested by the Applicant; the Motion <br /> was duly seconded by James Leonard and so voted unanimously. <br /> Public Hearing <br /> Willowbend Country Club, Inc. <br /> Simons Road-Approval of Special Permit Modification <br /> 62-Townhouse Condominium Addition to Willowbend Country Club Project <br /> The appointed hour having arrived the Chairman called this matter to order. He <br /> made reference to a letter from Attorney McElhinney requesting a continuance of the <br /> Public Hearing in order to allow further discussions with the National Heritage Program. <br /> MOTION: Dennis Balzarini made a Motion to continue the Public Hearing in <br /> this matter to January 21, 2009 at 7:30 p.m., as requested by the Applicant; which Motion <br /> was duly seconded by Joseph Mullin and so voted unanimously. <br /> Board Discussion <br /> Stormwater Booklet-Blue Book <br /> The Chairman suggested that perhaps Ms. Kane would be able to advise the <br /> Board in this matter as she has been so involved and concerned with these issues. <br /> Subdivision Regulations <br /> Mr. Rowley reported that he reviewed the Subdivision Rules and Regulations in <br /> an attempt to simplify the material. Rather than using a lengthy description he is <br /> suggesting making references to pictures such as in the construction of catch basins <br /> instructing the developer to "...construct details with specifications to conform to what is <br /> shown on Table A..." He also suggested each detail be included as a supplemental sheet <br /> to the back of the regulations for simplicity and style consistency. The road standards <br /> will comply with the Public Works Department with respect to the thickness of <br /> pavement, Cape Cod berm detail, curbing details,etc. <br /> The Town Planner suggested the development of urban type streets be included in <br /> the standards, as well as sidewalk requirements. <br /> Mr. Rowley made reference to a study conducted by the University of Vermont <br /> using pervious concrete for small parking areas, alley ways, etc. that does allow a certain <br /> 3 <br />
