5 <br /> MINUTES April 1, 1987 BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> Mr. Varkonda stated he is in support of the requested Variance <br /> due to the fact that the existing well is within twenty feet of the <br /> water. <br /> Mr. Boyd stated the applicant is remodeling his home and the total <br /> lot coverage with the proposed new construction, does not exceed 50% of <br /> the fair market value, given by the Town Assessors Office. Mr. Boyd <br /> stated this applicant, in his opinion, does not require a Variance. <br /> Mr. Sanicki stated he would like to withdraw in writing this re- <br /> quest for a Variance. <br /> Mr. Hanrahan motioned to accept the written request for withdrawal <br /> of this Variance application (to be referenced under Chapter 40A, Section <br /> 6) , Ms. Hawver seconded, all agreed. <br /> Michael Granfield - Requests a Special Permit under Section 11 of <br /> the Land Use Requirements for permission to construct an addition within <br /> Flood Plain A in a R-3M Zoning District on property located on lots 66-74, <br /> (map 114, parcel 6), Monomoscoy Road West, Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Members sitting: W. Hanrahan, C. Hawver and T. Sexton. <br /> Mr. David Sanicki was in attendance representing Michael Granfield, <br /> Mr. John Varkonda, Mashpee Conservation Officer was also in attendnace. <br /> There were no abutters present. <br /> Mr. Sanicki stated under Section 11.C-D of the Zoning By-Laws he <br /> does not feel this applicant requires a Special Permit. <br /> Mr. Varkonda stated he is in support of the Special Permit due <br /> to the fact that the Applicant is removing an existing cesspool within <br /> 30 feet of the water. <br /> Mr. Boyd stated with the construction of the proposed addition, <br /> total lot coverage does not exceed 50% of the fair market value given by <br /> the Town Assessors Office. <br /> Mr. Sanicki stated he would like to withdraw in writing this re- <br /> quest for a Special Permit. <br /> Mr. Hanrahan motioned to accept the written request for withdrawal <br /> of this Special Permit applicaton, Mr. Sexton seconded, all agreed. <br /> Calvin Rumbaugh - Requests a Special Permit under Section 6.9, sub- <br /> section I-9 of the Land Use Requirements for permission to construct and <br /> maintain a stairway, platform, ramp and float in a R-3 Zoning District <br /> on property located on lot 714 Little Neck Lane, (map 105, parcel 12), <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Members sitting: W.
